2022 was another year of the Covid-19 lockdown, at least to the point of limited travel and mask mandates, but that was no reason to stop our travel plans.
And what better reason to travel than celebrating a honeymoon. After 18 years of living on separate sides of the freeway, we join ourselves in holy matrimony. We had a simple ceremony at the clerk recorders office and a light reception with family downtown by the creek. And to save parking rates we rode the tandem.
And what better place to celebrate a marriage is the city of love, Paris.
We visited Montmartre, Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, traveled the city up and down, left and right.
Next off was Rome, the Colosseum, the Vatican, the Pantheon. Rushing from here to there. So much fun.
Now that we’re back home, it’s time to head north for the end of year celebration up to areas above San Francisco visiting lighthouses, glassy beaches, and beautiful Redwoods.
